Something New in 2022

I just can’t believe it’s that time again when you close out another year. As I’m writing this final blog, it just doesn’t seem real.

I want to bring you into a recent moment that brought His presence all over me. I was working on our Christmas worship set at church and I got wiped out playing through it.😭😭😭 This group of songs had/has a presence on them with an anticipation of the birth of this New Born King. It hit me hard.

He is here!!!

The Savior has been born!!!

We get to honor the King by proclaiming His name with a melody!! Jesus Christ is our living Hope.

I'm so thankful for His overwhelming presence that reminded me there is so much emotion/anticipation that leads up to a New Birth.

In lieu of last week’s blog about sweet and sour, this thought came to me as well: “Our words change when His presence invades our heart space.” The anticipation had me undone. I could feel the emotion of the coming King. He is coming. He is actually here. He is risen, and He desires for us to partner with Him and bring to life His glory cheer.

So, what are you anticipating for this coming year? 2021 was a laborious year, if you ask me. Plow, hustle, plant, build, rebuild. Do any of these words connect to your 2021 reflection? But y’all, forward is all we have. We can’t go back. Forward is the only way out of our current circumstances. This brings me to a passage I read recently as we round out this year’s Bible reading:

“Everyone who has ears should listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. ‘I will give some of the hidden manna to everyone who wins the victory. I will also give to each one who wins the victory a white stone with a new name written on it. No one knows this new name except the one who receives it. I will give power over the nations to everyone who wins the victory and continues to be obedient to me until the end.’”

-Revelation 2:17, 26 NCV

The key to our victory is to keep being obedient to the King until the very end!

Thank you, Holy Spirit, for keys to keep going even in the midst of what seems like a hamster wheel of toiling year.

This is what I love about the Holy Spirit, He gets into the seams of our lives. Think about a newborn baby. You have to move their skin around to clean it well, especially under their necks. He does the same with us. He pushes and adjusts the inner parts of us to make sure everything is clean and nothing is festering underneath.

Can your heart actually believe for something new to happen in 2022?

I will leave this question with you to sit with Jesus in these final days of the 2021 craze.

As for me, this year has brought new revelations, new anticipations, new frustrations, new challenges, new limits brought to awareness, and many moments of humanity weakness. I have felt more tired this year. This was the aftermath of Covid that came for Christmas last year.

But, 2022 is looking full! For one, I’m excited to be releasing my first chapter book about my stories as a writer of lyric and life. There will be a 12-song album and a 12-chapter book coming to you on February 14th. (You can pre-order the book here.)

So, to say I’m going into 2022 with an anticipation of the coming year is an understatement. The last four years have especially lead up to this moment. I feel the Heavenly Father’s nod on it. I have had confirmations by fellow sojourners that the Father was pleased as well. A friend even sent me this text after having a dream about me being pregnant. She was a little alarmed by the dream, but felt to share it with me anyway: “He really wants you to know how much He’s been in the midst of this pregnancy and you’re carrying His baby! I guess God wanted to encourage and even applaud you for your faithfulness!” ❤️

You see, I have felt like I was pregnant with words and His revelation since 2017. Part of proclaiming revelation is to learn how to interpret and then to activate that which the Father deposited inside of you in your daily life. Sending and Mending has been my vehicle to birth this message of Holy Spirit activity. It’s a cause to be given away and I pray the passion declared will ignite another to be a Mender in their corner of the world. We are all called to stand in on this earth for those we love and those yet to be known, sent to us from the Father above.

Well, I could go on and on about this topic of connecting within and then being obedient to the thought that brings a holy grin. For, loving on others just feels heavenly when done from a place of love and purity. Thank you for following along with me on this journey of becoming all the Father has called me to be. It’s been divine walking with the Father in rhythm and rhyme. 😉

So, now I want to turn it over to you. I would love for you to comment below about which blog helped you most. This year has brought loss, celebration, tears, kingdom servers and many other honorable mentions. You have been my inspiration, for your stories have sparked my heart scribing interpretations.

Whether you have written a comment or not, you have helped me continue to heal, and for that I am eternally grateful. This blog has been a prescription God delivered to me through scribing and vibing. It’s helped to heal my soul and you have been a part of the healing process. I trust that you have received some healing along the way as well. Thank you for your comments and your kind words that I have received around town. Thank you for being a Sender and Mender. You mean more to me than I can express. As we move into 2022, may we all take another step in helping to find those who can be Senders and Menders too.

Until next time,

Stay Tender

Connect to the Mender

Be a Sender ❤️
