New Learning Center

Take this time in quarantine to seek your true inner self. There is no pressure—just gather and enter to find your true center.

Like many of you, one of the major adjustments during this quarantine is home schooling my children. Interestingly, my kids class room at their school is called the Learning Center. So, I set a goal to make April all about creating a new learning center for my kids.

To adapt them and myself into our new learning center, we will:

Dream.

Imagine.

Create.

Activate.

Sing.

Play.

Dance.

Write.

Share.

Care.

Cook.

Clean.

Welcome to our new learning center.

Even in the midst of isolation, increasing number of deaths, and continued adapting,

we can take this opportunity to find the bright-side, or else, fall to the dark side. I like the bright-side and I’m challenging myself to take this time as an opportunity to pour into my kids.

Capture this gift of time as an opportunity to grow with your children. Share with them about life, love, encouragement, togetherness, and teamwork. Will this all come easy? No. Will it take more effect and energy? Yes! Is it worth it to mark them with memories? Yes!

Who would like to take the challenge of beginning a new learning center with me?

The more our children see their parents willing to be silly and do new things, the more they will be willing to do new things on their own. The more we grow, the more they grow. It’s all about finding the more that’s in store. There is a child within us that is waiting to be unlocked and to play again. If your kids are at home, don’t get stuck in the chores and bores of life. Instead, find the joys of life. Life is a joy, so live it fully, wholeheartedly, and passionately.

“Yet wisdom’s song is not always heard in the halls of higher learning. But in the hustle and bustle of everyday life its lyrics can always be heard above the din of the crowd. You will hear wisdom’s warning as she preaches courageously to those who stop to listen:”

Proverbs 1:21 TPT

Sometimes, we just have to stop and listen. Wisdom’s song is calling. Will you answer the call to gather and enter this new learning center? You might just find your center after you enter.

Thanks for reading and remember, you can always bring your cheer and smile from ear to ear.
