Daughters of Revelation Light

Happy Monday. This week I want to speak a little bit more about what and who a daughter of the King represents.

April was the beginning of delivering new music melodies on all streaming platforms. It’s been very exciting. My single, Daughter of the King, inspired some new gear too. This Friday another t-shirt will be released for you to purchase. I am super excited to start creating more gear to bring you some cheer.

A few things have been revealed to me in my journaling about this topic. As I mentioned in a previous blog, a daughter of the King is...

Regal

Royal

Raw

Real

Righteous

I googled these words and found the following definitions.

Daughter of a King Identity:

“If you describe something as regal, you mean that it is suitable for a king or queen, because it is very impressive or beautiful. He sat with such regal dignity. Synonyms are royal, majestic, kingly or queenly, noble.”

“The word royal means 'kingly' [basileios]. It is a priesthood that has been elevated to rule and exercise priestly functions in coordination with their High Priest, the King of Kings.”

“A person who is referred to as raw because they don't filter their thoughts and actions through the sieve of the public opinion, the raw signs feel, behave and think in a pure manner. They don't see themselves through the eyes of other people and adapt themselves for the sake of being proper or to be accepted as appropriate in public.”

“Something that is honest, transparent, and real. There's even more reason than ever to make sure that, when we do engage one to one, it's real and meaningful. Living authentically is about being genuine, real and true to yourself. It's not doing what your parents or society wants or what you think you should do.”

“A human person is not righteous in God's eyes because of his choice or commitment, his good works or his piety, his emotions or intellect... ‘Through faith in Christ, therefore, Christ's righteousness becomes our righteousness and all that he has becomes ours; rather, he himself becomes ours.’”

These are very powerful words and character traits that don’t develop overnight, but it’s the process I’m on. My heart’s desire is to fully embody these traits. So, what better way to start believing them than to wear them. The more we wear words that come from the Father of light, the more we believe everything is going to be alright.

I wanted this collection to be royal colors since royalty is a part of this whole thing. Also, part of being a daughter of a King is understanding that you are also a daughter of light.

“Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your Word makes my pathway clear.”

Psalms 119:105 TPT

“So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.””

Matthew 5:16 TPT

“Once your life was full of sin’s darkness, but now you have the very light of our Lord shining through you because of your union with him. Your mission is to live as children flooded with his revelation-light!”

Ephesians 5:8 TPT

This last verse really is the essence of all that I am hoping to express here today. WE ARE children flooded with revelation light! Revelation reveals. Revelation heals as we allow its truths to start working within us.

Sometimes our behaviors, stinking thinking, and emotions have to be realigned to become this type of human being. I have found that part of becoming is surrendering the old ways and releasing them so the new ways have space inside of me to take up residency. I wrote something recently that says just because we ask Jesus into our hearts doesn’t mean He’s ALL IN. Think of your heart as a house. Salvation is like walking in your front door, or maybe even your back door, but until all the internal doors are open too, He doesn’t have full access to move through you. There is more to do, and as you know, houses need constant tending to. They don’t stay clean. Over and over we are walking through, accessing each room. Decluttering, putting things away, deep cleaning, dusting, etc. I hope you see my point. It’s not a one-time thing.

Maintenance is part of our heart health. If we are not looking within regularly, things are going to start to build up, and for me, the build-up shows up in my attitude and my body. Things start to hurt. Things start to get tight. My heart starts to feel heavy. My mind starts to feel overwhelmed. All of these are a part of not checking in internally. This is a rhyme that takes time to find, but if I am to really be a good steward of this body, or house, I have to tend to it. Not once a year, not once a month, but daily.

Okay. This blog has gone in a different direction than I was expecting! That is the funny thing about this journey—I never know how things will end up, but it’s exciting to look back and know His presence was moving through my fingers as I type to send her. My hope is that as you continue to read over these words sent from above, you will start to believe YOU ARE…

A Son or Daughter of the King.

A Son or Daughter of light.

Open and ready to receive His revelation light.

The King of Glory is kind, faithful, merciful, and tender. When He reveals to your heart, it’s tender. He is near always, even if we don’t feel Him. Ladies and gentleman, our Father above is good. He is running after us daily with goodness. If you can’t see it, if you don’t believe it, it’s never too late to start.

I want to end today with a pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Search my heart. I am here to find You, the Father of truth. Will you reveal something to me that only You and I know, so I know it’s You talking to me? I am ready to hear, for my heart needs a little tender healing. Thank You in advance, Father, for Your loving kindness shown to me. In Your humble name I pray, Amen.

Until next time,

Stay tender.

Connect it the Mender.

Be a sender.
